Who are we?
My name is Joy Cheang and I am a Play and Creative Arts therapist, certified through PTUK.
Prior to training as a therapist, I was a foster carer and have extensive experience in safeguarding, working with trauma and brain-based differences.
I love to provide a safe space for children to be their own unique selves complete with all their struggles and strengths.
I offer a range of play and creative arts techniques so that each child can find their preferred way of communicating and regulating.
When I'm not in the play therapy room, you might find me talking long walks with my husband (and my teenagers when I can persuade them!), or playing touch rugby with more enthusiasm than skill at my local rugby club.
